You must have OEM unlocking and USB debugging enabled to use ADB/fastboot tools, to install a custom recovery, custom ROM/operating system, ect.

This is a guide how to enable developer settings, and do this.

-Start by putting the ROM in the folder with your adb tool. Put your device into fastboot mode.

-Pixel phones: Hold power + volume down buttons. Continue holding power + volume down until you see fastboot mode. Connect to computer.

-Open adb installer tool. This is the easier adb installer method. Link below.

-You should see your phone, with a random string of letters/numbers

Type: fastboot update "beta-topaz-lynx.zip"

**Drag and drop the file out of the folder, don't type the file path.

-Hit enter. It will take a few minutes to unpack and update the zip. Your phone will turn on and off. The adv installer will show finished when complete.
